Congratulations to Yamba SLSC’s newest patrol members. Tim Berry, Chris Moran, Bella Gilbert, Morgan Holloway, Rory Frazer and Kirsten O’Connor successfully completed their Bronze Medallion on Sunday and Taylah Sutherland, Lachie McFarlane and Max Gilbert were successful in gaining their Surf Rescue Certificate. Thank you to Rhys Comerford and Alan Schofield for a great job in training another successful group of members for assessment.

Kalani Ives took out the Carl Schaeffer Handicap Swim on Sunday morning. Conditions were flat and despite the rain there were plenty of starters for this popular surf race. Second place went to Alan Lawrence with Bobbie Winger crossing the finish line in third.

Yamba Nippers End of Season Presentation and Celebration is on this Saturday 28 March, at the Clubhouse starting at 4pm. A BBQ will follow the presentation.

Yamba SLSC meat raffles are on every Saturday evening at the Yamba Golf and Country Club. Greg Wyllie, James Ryan, Mark Gillespie and Mitch Imeson will be selling tickets from 5:30pm with the draw staring at 6:30pm. With 33 meat trays up for grabs, come along and try you luck!

Yamba Surf Club bar is open every Sunday afternoon 3-6pm. With a great range of cold drinks, fantastic views and football playing on the TV it’s a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon!

Thank you to our volunteer patrols who continue to monitor Main Beach in all conditions. Patrols for this weekend are:

Sunday 29th 12.30-4pm Patrol 3- Matthew Saunders, Marty Dougherty, Daniel Connors, Jill Ennever, Belinda Bock, Rebecca Clout, Max Normand, Jesse Holloway, Jasmin Ives.
